The owner

Hans Schaap is a farmer's son raised with respect and knowledge of the growth and prosperity of nature. He spent his entire working life on the golf course, first as a greenkeeper and later as head greenkeeper. In 2010, Hans decided to start his own company, and that was the foundation for the HGM. Because he literally worked 'on the field', he knows the implications of this profession. HGM has a dedicated team of 70 employees, that provides services to the golf courses and the internal organization, throughout the year. In the high season this number of employees more than doubles. This makes it a very flexible organization and that is why HGM can ensure that the golf course maintenance is performed at the highest level. Besides maintaining golf courses HGM is also specialized in the construction and renovation of golf courses (in collaboration with top golf course architects).

HGM is a company with vast knowledge and experienced employees, always working with new equipment and knowing what the clients of today require: quality for a different price.
